We recently enjoyed another fantastic day at Whitley Bay Golf Club for the Permatt Annual Golf Day 2026, hosted by Permatt Forklift Trucks in association with M&M Scaffolding Services Ltd.
This year’s event brought together eight teams made up of customers, colleagues, friends and local businesses for a day of golf, good company and some friendly competition.
It’s an event we always look forward to. As well as giving everyone the chance to enjoy a round of golf, it’s a good opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and spend some time together away from the usual working day.
Eight Teams Take to the Course
With eight teams taking part, there was no shortage of competition out on the course. As you would expect, there were some excellent shots, a few that may be best forgotten, and plenty of good-natured rivalry along the way.
Whitley Bay Golf Club once again proved to be a great setting for the day, and we’d like to thank the club and everyone involved for making us so welcome.
Supporting Local Sport and Our North East Community
Permatt has always been proud of its North East roots, and supporting local clubs, organisations and community initiatives remains important to us.
Our relationship with Whitley Bay Golf Club forms part of our wider commitment to supporting local sport and the community, and the annual golf day has become a great way of bringing people together while supporting a local sporting venue.
We were also delighted to host this year’s event in association with M&M Scaffolding Services Ltd and to welcome representatives from both businesses alongside our guests.
Thanks to Everyone Who Joined Us
A big thank you to all eight teams who took part and helped make the day such an enjoyable one. We’d also like to thank M&M Scaffolding Services Ltd for hosting the event alongside us, and everyone at Whitley Bay Golf Club for their hospitality throughout the day.
We’ve included a selection of photographs from this year’s event below. Thanks again to everyone who joined us – we’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year.
